The Move Manager position plays a lead role within our move teams that ensure the highest level of customer service on every move project. Move industry experience not necessary. We care about your character and work ethic, who you are and what you can deliver.
A Move Manager will:
- Have a clean-cut professional appearance, respectful speaking style and helpful attitude
- Know his or her way around a toolbox and be comfortable using basic tools to assemble furniture, attach keyboard trays, hang paintings, etc. as well as be able to hook up basic computer and printer cables
- Have the smarts, creativity and desire to solve problems as they arise
- Be flexible to work the hours necessary to complete a project, often involving evenings and weekends
- Be equally comfortable wheeling a dolly, hauling boxes, discussing project details with the client or supervising a team of movers
- Be physically capable of climbing in and out of trucks and lifting at least 75 lbs
- Have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record and the confidence to learn to drive 1 ton, 3 ton and 5 ton trucks to and from job sites
- Have a serious commitment to customer service and team environment
