The right candidate must possess:
- Project management and/or Facilities management experience
- Willingness to be hands on during an office move
- Exceptional customer service and experience to prove it
- Highly organized and innovative
- Very strong written and oral communication skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (Microsoft Project is an asset)
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change on the fly
- Desire to grow both personally and professionally
- Energy and excitement while working with clients
Duties not limited to but include:
- Develop move strategies and timelines
- Identify departmental requirements and implement into move plan
- Attend construction meetings
- Conduct move meetings with clients
- Develop move checklist to ensure all move related tasks have been assigned and are tracked
- Provide on-site supervision during the move
- Arrange for the clean-up of vacated premises and the sale, disposal and/or donation of unwanted furniture and equipment
- Assist in the preparation of deficiency lists and in remedying deficiencies
